Kochi: India Prime Minister Narendra Modi
suspended his overseas trip to rush back home in the wake of yesterday’s Kashmir terror attack, media reports said.
Modi arrived on Wednesday morning
National Security Adviser Ajit Doval briefed PM Modi on the terrorist attack which claimed at Least 27 people, mostly tourists.
Modi took a briefing at the airport with Foreign Minister S Jaishankar, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
Home Minister Amit Shah is at Srinagar.
Shah conducted a special meeting with Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, CRPF DG, Jammu Kashmir DG and Army officials.
