Kochi: Twenty three parties of the I.N.D.I.A Bloc sans Aam Aadmi Party and DMK met at Constitution Club in New Delhi on Monday to discuss future course of action.
The meeting resolved to write to the Chief Justice of India over their concerns related to the Special Intensive Revision (SIR).
Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said the letter, which will include alleged voter disenfranchisement for “stealing elections”,
would be submitted to the Chief Justice soon.
He added that the alliance had also unanimously demanded the immediate resignation of the Union Education Minister in the NEET .
CPM general secretary M A Baby said his party had conveyed its concerns about the functioning of the I.N.D.I A bloc to Kharge. He exhorted all alliance partners to act in a more focused and responsible manner.
Speaking in Thiruvananthapuram, Baby criticised Congress leaders for accusing LDF of having a deal with the BJP during the Kerala Assembly election campaign.
Rajya Sabha member and former Congress leader Kapil Sibal also attended the meeting, while Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray participated virtually.
