Kochi: A judge of the Kerala High Court suspended hearing of a case midway due to alleged objectionable demeanor of the government pleader.
The judge stopped hearing the case and went to his chamber where he summoned the Director General of Prosecution T A Shaji and lodged his displeasure over the pleader’s behaviour, media reports said.
Following this the government pleader was shifted to another bench, the reports said.
The problem started when the court decided to grant interim bail to an accused, ignoring the opposition to the bail plea by the pleader.
The government pleader is the brother of a senior CPM leader of Ernakulam district.
