Kochi: Kerala Governor Arif Mohammad Khan on Saturday accused the Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of encouraging protests against him through CPM outfit SFI.
Speaking to reporters at Calicut University, Khan described the SFI leaders as criminals who were sent at the behest of Chief Minister.Khan said he will take on the SFI with an iron hand on the lines of what Swami Vivekananda said.Khan flayed the Left government for giving pension to party workers after working as staff of ministers for over two years while genuine pensioners were deprived it. The SFI activists courted arrest outside the campus where they protested against the Governor who is in loggerheads with the Chief Minister over various issues.
CPM is accusing the Governor of trying to implement the agenda of BJP government.
