Kochi: Services of Kochi Metro through Pathadipalam station became normal as a snag in a pillar near the station was rectified.
Services are operated at an interval of seven and half minutes through the section as it was done before the snag in pillar number 347 was detected. Speed regulation in the CUSAT-Pathadipalam section, where the pillar is located, will continue for some more time.
Four additional piles were constructed to reinforce the defective pillar.
Speed of trains through Pathadipalam-CUSAT section was reduced to 20 km from the normal speed of 35 km following detection of the problem a few months back.
