Kochi: A naval staNavy ff Hans Raj of Rajasthan was arrested for raping a minor and impregnating her at West Kochi, media reports said.
The 26-year-old Hans Raj of Behror in Alwar befriended the 17-year-old victim living in the neighborhood when his wife had gone home for delivery of their child, the reports said.
The matter came to light when the victim reached advanced pregnancy of eight months.
A police case was registered against Hansraj who initially denied his involvement but later broke down.
He is the father of a six month old baby.
