Kochi: The investigation team has submitted an additional charge sheet in the actor abuse case of 2017.
The investigation report has been presented before the Sessions Court, the prosecution informed the trial court.
The crime branch has registered an additional charge against actor Dileep for tampering evidence. His acquaintance Sharat has been arraigned in the case.
The additional charge sheet said that Dileep watched the objectionable videos of the actor who was abducted and abused on February, 17, 2017 in Kochi in Kerala.
Dileep’s second wife and actor Kavya Madhavan has been made a witness. Dileep’s first wife Manju Warrier, Director Balachandra Kumar, who provided digital evidence against Dileep, cyber expert Sai Sankar, prime accused Pulsar Suni ‘s mother, and Dileep’s domestic help are witnesses.
Some of the lawyers of Dileep who were accused of destroying evidence by the Crime Branch have not made them accused or witnesses.
The trial court will consider the case on July 27. There are ten accused including Dileep in the case out of which only Pulsar Suni is in jail.
