Kochi: The ISRO’s Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle today launched three Singapore satellites from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota on Thursday.
The launch was carried out under PSLV-C53 mission by Department of Space’s corporate arm NewSpace India Ltd (NSIL).
The three satellites were deployed at Low Earth Orbit at an altitude of 570 km measured from the equator.
Last time ISRO had successfully launched the PSLV-C52 mission in February by injecting Earth Observation Satellite into an intended sun-synchronous polar orbit of 529 km altitude. The mission also placed two small satellites.
