Kochi: The Kerala High Court has ordered a probe into the appointment of former Chief Minister’s son V A Arun Kumar as Temporary Director of IHRD.
The High Court said this while hearing a petition of Thrikkakara model engineering college former principal and present Kerala technical University Dean
Dr Vinu Thomas.
The court directed to investigate the qualifications of Arun Kumar.
The investigation will also probe whether Arun Kumar was qualified to become IHRD temporary Director.
IHRD Director’s post is on par with a University Vice Chancellor.
UGC guidelines require seven years teaching experience to become a Director.
