Kochi: Two teenaged girls succumbed to the injuries sustained after falling into Peechi Dam in Thrissur on Monday, media reports said.
Ann Grace, 15, and Aleena, 16, from Pattikad died at Jubilee Mission Hospital in Thrissur.
The victims were among the four who jumped into the Dam reservoir to rescue Nima’s sister who was drowning on Sunday.
Erin from Pattikad remains in critical condition. A special medical team, including experts from Thrissur Medical College, is treating them.
The condition of 12-year-old Nima from Peechi has shown slight improvement.
