CPM rebels to float new party

Kochi: Rebel CPM leaders in Palakkad have resolved to float Democratic Marxist Front in Kerala, Asianet reported.
The matter assumes significance as the assembly elections in the state are approaching fast.
Plans are on to include P K Sasi.
CPM district secretary E N Suresh Babu said it will not impact the party.
The rebels are mulling to create a group of disaffected CPM workers across the district including Kollengode, Mannarkkad, and Ottapalam. Factionalism in Palakkad has been brewing for some time now.
