Kochi: Kerala Vigilance department has prepared a list of 1,600 corrupt officials in different departments of the state government as part of project zero.
The Vigilance Department is keeping surveillance on 250 staff who are under its red category, Vigilance Director Manoj Abraham told Asianet news.
The majority of the suspected corrupt officials are in the Revenue department, LSGD, Motor Vehicles Department among others.
One by one they are being held. The modus operandi of receiving bribes has changed with most using digital mode.
The corrupt officials’ children studying abroad are also getting money in the form of bribes.
The AI technology will be used to monitor the government officials, he said.
