10 CPM activists held for violence

Kochi: Total number of CPM workers arrested for perpetrating violence after the local bodies poll in Panoor in Kerala has gone upto 10, media reports said.
Five accused were arrested on Monday while five were taken
into custody from Mysore in Karnataka on Wednesday.
Police have booked 50 cpm workers for creating terror in Panoor and nearby areas after they lost power in Kunnothparambu panchayat where they were ruling for the past 25 years.
Some UDF workers were also booked.
The police said the accused were identified after inspecting the CCTV footages. Police are searching for the remaining accused.
