Kochi: A woman lawyer has prayed before High Court of Kerala to register contempt of court case against a female judge for alleged defamatory observations against her.
Advocate T B Mini accused the judge of allegedly making observations against Mini during the trial of actress abuse case of 2017, Asianet news reported.
Mini alleged that the judge allegedly observed that Mini appeared for less than ten days and mostly used to sleep during the hearing.
Mini claimed that these observations were defamatory and prayed to the court to take suo motu case against the trial judge.
Advocate Mini alleged that the observations made on January 12, 2026, damaged her reputation and also led to cyber attack against her.
Mini’s plea seeking action against the judge was dismissed by the Advocate General.
