Kochi: A cargo ship sailing the Strait of Hormuz was hit by a projectile on Thursday, India Today reported.
The event exposed the risks to shipping through the area even as tanker traffic resumed and US-Iran talks continued.
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations centre ruled out casualties.
