Kochi: Interior designer Shaiju Thankachan
chased the models with the ill intention of persuading them to stay in Kochi, police said.
According to the city police commissioner C H Nagaraju, the models’ car met with an accident only because Shaiju chased them.
Besides the models, another person was also killed in the accident.
Shaiju was a drug addict and he had under his control many girls, media reports said.
He had chased them to persuade them to stay in Kochi, media reports quoting Nagaraju said.
Police have collected photos of many girls from his mobile phone. He had exploited them and if they came forward against Shaiju, the police would act accordingly, the commissioner said.
The police have collected proof against Shaiju for his dealings in drugs with others who are being questioned by the police, the reports said.
