Kochi: Actor assault case accused Pulsar Suni was admitted to the government mental hospital Thrissur on Tuesday evening.
Suni, who is accused number one in the case, was taken to the hospital after he complained of problems, media reports said.
Recently Suni’s plea for bail was rejected by the Supreme Court directing him to move the Kerala High Court.
All other accused who were arrested in connection with the case including leading actor, director, distributor, film maker Dileep were released on bail in the case.
According to the prosecution Suni with the help of other accused had abducted a leading South Indian actor on February 17, 2017 as per a plan plotted by actor Dileep, and abused her and made a video recording of it.
He was arrested on February 23, 2017, and since then he is in jail.
Dileep who was arrested was in jail for 85 days.
