Kochi: BJP-Shiv Sena bloc is predicted to sweep polls in the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), Times of India reported.
Exit polls have projected the alliance to cross the 130-seat mark in Asia’s richest civic body.
The Shiv Sena (UBT)–MNS alliance is expected to get just over 60 seats. Congress is likely to get around 20 seats.
The Axis My India poll estimated 141 seats for the BJP alliance, JVC has forecast a tally of 138 wards.
The Thackeray cousins – Uddhav and Raj – who reunited after two decades are predicted by My India to get just 63 seats.
The JVC poll estimated 59 wards for the Shiv Sena (UBT)–MNS combine.
