Kochi: Two gunmen who killed 15 people at Bondi Beach in Sydney on Sunday were father and son identified as Akram, 50, and son Naveed, 24, BBC reported.
The older man died on the spot while his son is in a critical condition in hospital. The men had reportedly pledged allegiance to the Islamic State group, while IS flags were reportedly found in their car, the reports said.
The two fired at Jewish people attending a Hanukkah event killing people including a 10-year-old girl.
Australia is planning tougher gun laws after the attack.
