Kochi: The CPM has alleged that the Governor has become a tool in the hands of the centre to create problems for the Left government in Kerala.
In an article in party mouthpiece Deshabhimani, party state secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan said that the Governor’s decision to stay the appointment of the wife of Chief Minister’s private secretary Priya Varghese in Kannur University is an example of it.
It is the duty of the Governor to help the government to carry out the administration smoothly.
The Governor’s reluctance to sign the ordinances is part of the BJP’s agenda to smother the activities of the Left government.
Kodiyeri alleged that besides using the Governor, the central agencies and others, the Centre is using RSS to fight the CPM and the murder of CPM leader Shahjahan in Palakkad was an example of it.
