Kochi: The Crime Branch sleuths wound up questioning actor Kavya Madhavan in connection with actor assault case at her house in Aluva today.
The team led by DySP Byju K Paulose started questioning her at about 11.30 am and ended it at 4.45 pm.
A few days back the crime branch had asked her to appear at a suitable location for questioning at 11 am on May 9.
However, she preferred it at her house at Aluva, following which the crime branch reached her house to collect evidence.
The Crime Branch headed by Crime Branch ADGP S Sreejit unsuccessfully tried to get her questioned at a different place from her house.
It was at this stage Sreejit got transferred to a different department.
The investigation team probing the conspiracy case to harm police officials against Dileep and others were also at Aluva.
The questioning was expected to revolve over Kavya’s name coming in for reference in a telephonic conversation seized by the police from the mobile phones of Dileep and a few others.
The reported financial dealings between the survivor, Manju Warrier and Dileep in connection with the real estate business was another issue before the cops.
The investigation team had stumbled upon some evidence in this regard while probing the conspiracy case to harm police officials.
Kavya married Dileep in November, 2016.
after separating from her first husband in 2011. Dileep also got a divorce from his actor wife Manju Warrier in 2015 January.
