Kochi: The Delhi High Court on Tuesday dismissed the bail plea of former Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in the liquor policy case.
A single bench of the High Court rejected the bail plea filed by Sisodia of Aam Aadmi Party.
Cases were registered by the CBI and ED in relation to the alleged Delhi excise policy scam.
Earlier, the trial court in Delhi had rejected Sisodia’s bail plea on March 31. He was denied bail by the trial court in the ED case also. His bail plea in the ED case is pending before the High Court.
Sisodia was arrested by the CBI on February 26 and ED on March 9. Sisodia is in judicial custody in the cases registered by the CBI and ED.
Sisodia had argued that no evidence of money trail has been found from him by the central agency in the alleged liquor policy scam case.
According to the prosecution Sisodia and some AAP leaders connived to grant liquor licenses to certain traders in exchange for favour.
