Kochi: Kerala has moved the Supreme Court seeking more time to complete trial of the actor abuse case in the wake of new revelations made against actor Dileep, media reports said.
As the Supreme Court had directed the trial court to complete the case by February 16, the new revelations made by Dileep’s associate and director Balachandra Kumar has necessitated the investigation team to probe into the allegations, the reports said.
The police have collected evidence including the mobile phone of Balachandra Kumar and presented them before the trial court.
The allegations include Dileep’s acquaintance with the prime accused Pulsar Suni, Dileep trying to influence a witness, and Dileep
keeping in his possession the
controversial video which was supposed to be with the court, the reports said.
Meanwhile, Dileep has accused Investigation Officer Baiju Poulose of being biased against him and sought his replacement if there was a reinvestigation in the case.
He accused Baiju and Balachandra Kumar of plotting against him.
