Kochi: Police are most likely planning to question popular actress Kavya Madhavan in connection with the actor assault case on February 17, 2017 at Kochi.
Notice summoning Kavya for the questioning is expected to be sent after grilling her husband and actor Dileep who is the eighth accused in the case, media reports said.
From the beginning there were allegations that a ‘Madam’ was involved in the assault case. The prime accused Pulsar Suni said this first. There were reports that Suni had handed over the objectionable video of the affected actor to the Madam before police arrested him, the reports said.
Some witnesses had also blamed ‘Madam’ during witness collection.
However, the police could not go further due to missing links and absence of evidence.
The :Madam’s’ name cropped up again after director and Dileep’s friend Balachandra Kumar made revelations with digital evidence in the case.
The police had registered fresh case against Dileep based on the revelation of Kumar that Dileep and others had conspired to harm police officials who had investigated the actor assault case.
The police had also recently questioned Dileep’s friend Sharath who is believed to be the ‘VIP’ who is said to be involved in the crime. During the questioning police have come across certain inputs on the ‘Madam’.
