Kochi: A former CPM students’ outfit leader has been booked under non-bailable charges for allegedly using a forged experience certificate
Cases were registered against the former SFI leader K Vidya after Ernakulam Maharaja’s College principal lodged a complaint with the police about the alleged crime, media reports said.
If proven guilty, the teacher might get a sentence for seven years.The matter came to light when her certificates came for scrutiny during an interview at Government College, Attapady.
The Logo and seal of the college appeared fake following which the interview panel got in touch with the principal of Ernakulam Medical College.
Vidya claimed that she had worked as a guest lecturer at Maharaja’s College during 2018-19 and 2020-21 which was discounted by the college authorities, the reports said.
Vidya has worked as a guest lecturer in colleges in Kasaragod and Palakkad. KSU state president P Mohammed Shammas alleged that Arsho had helped Vidya illegally gain admission for PhD at Sanskrit University, Kalady, as well.
