Kochi: Five members of a family were found dead in their house at Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram.
Manikuttan, 46, wife Sandhya, 36, children Aneesh, Ameya, 13, a close relative Devaki, 85.
Manikuttan was found hanging, while the others were found on the floor.
Manikuttan, who had a roadside petty shop, was fined Rs 50,000 by the local body’s food and safety department, media reports said.
According to people, Manikuttan was having financial problems.
