Kochi: Outstanding performance by left arm fast medium bowler Obed Christopher McCoy devastated India’s batting to help West Indies crush the visitors in the second T20 at Warner park at St Kitts.
The two teams have won one each in the five T20 matches.
McCoy claimed six wickets in 17 runs to restrict India at 138 in 19.4 overs after the host won the toss and decided to bowl.
Only Hardik Pandya 31 and Ravindra Jadeja 27 were able to endure the West Indies attack while all others shivered before McCoy.
Batting second, B King hit a sparkling 68 in 52 runs while D Thomas hit 31 and remained unbeaten.
West Indies crossed the target by hitting 141 runs losing just five wickets in 19.4. Like in batting, Jadeja claimed 1 for 16 and Pandya 1 for 22 to make some impact on the West Indies batting.
