Kochi: Justice has been delivered by India in response to the Pakistan backed terror strike in Pahalgam killing 26 people as India hit nine terror camps in Pakistan killing over 100 terrorists on May 7, top military officials said on Sunday.
After this India’s attempts to hold talks with Pakistan failed to yield any result as Islamabad decided to go offensive against New Delhi, they said.
Thereafter, it was a war like situation as fighter planes of both countries were involved resulting in the killing of 35 to 40 Pakistan military personnel and India losing five military officials and civilians, they said.
Publishing pictures of their claim, they said India crushed strategic sites of Pakistan
like Chaklala in Rawalpindi, Murid in Chakwal, Rafiqui in Shorkot, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur and Chunian.
India will not engage with any third country other than Pakistan, Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) General Rajiv Ghai said.
All Indian pilots are back home safe, busting Pakistan’s claims that it had downed two Indian fighter jets on May 10, he said.
