Kochi: Iran’s attack against the US in Kuwait killed an Indian and injured 63 others at Kuwait International Airport on Wednesday.
Iran made missiles and drones to attack the airport.
The injured included the staff and passengers in the airport. Kuwaiti authorities said the strike damaged airport infrastructure and nearby diplomatic facilities. Flight operations at Kuwait International Airport were temporarily suspended.
Resumption of flights was announced from Terminal 4 after safety inspections and damage assessments were completed.
Meanwhile, Bahrain’s military said it intercepted three Iran missiles and several drones after Iran claimed it had targeted the headquarters of the US Fifth Fleet and other military installations in the region.
The US military said some Iranian missiles failed to reach their targets, while several drones were intercepted.
