Kochi: Film personalities Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan entered wedlock on June 9 in Chennai.
Actor-producer Nayanthara and director, film producer, actor and lyricist Shivan officially announced the date officially before the media on June 7.
The duo met Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin and his actor son Udayagiri to extend their invitation to them for the event at a resort at Old Mahabalipuram Road. The marriage was held privately with only a few getting the invite. A star-studded reception was arranged.
The event was live-streamed Over The Top platform. The two have been living together for some years now. Shivan had been posting their pictures in the Social media regularly.
They first worked in Naanum Rowdy Dhaan released in 2015. Their latest film is Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaadhal released recently. Vijay Sethupathi and Samantha are the other stars.
Acted in more than 75 films, Nayanthara is the highest-paid actor. She was the only South Indian actress to make into Forbes India celebrity 100 list in 2018. Her first film is
Manassinakkare released in 2003. They jointly floated a film company Rowdy Pictures which released two films in 2021.
