Kochi: Former Chief Whip of Kerala, P C George led his Kerala Janapaksham (Secular) party to merge with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday, media reports said. His son Shone George, Kottayam district panchayath) and George Joseph Kakkanad also took BJP membership in a meeting at Delhi in the presence of Union Ministers V Muraleedharan, Rajeev Chandrasekhar and BJP Kerala leader in-charge Prakash Jayasankar.George, who was in NDA in 2018, left it in 2019.
