Kochi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted Jammu and Kashmir for winning their maiden Ranji Trophy title after beating eight time winner Karnataka.
In his Man ki Baat programme, Modi credited the victory to their hard work and dedication.
Modi praised captain Paras Dogra for his leadership and mentioned young bowler Aaqib Nabi’s performance of claiming 60 wickets in the tournament.
“This victory has thrilled the players and coaching staff, as well as the people of Jammu and Kashmir,” he said.
