Pinarayi denies ties with SDPI

Kochi: Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday denied allegations of the Left front making any deal with SDPI in Kerala.
Speaking at Thiruvananthapuram, Vijayan said it is the policy of the Left front to keep off from communal forces even as those affiliated to outfits could have voted for the Left front to keep BJP at bay.
It could have happened in 2021 in Nemom to keep away the BJP, he said.
Vijayan said the government is proud to have commissioned Vizhinjam port which has fetched the state government a Revenue of Rs 125 crore.
He said the government is determined to complete the fourth phase by 2028.
Justifying his decision to walk away from the media conference, Vijayan said he said as the question was getting prolonged, he had no option other than to leave for an election programme.
He said the journalists are free to ask any questions and they are the ones to decide about questions.
