Kochi: Drishyam fame across Ansiba Hassan’s complaints against actor Lakshmipriya and a woman Sub-Inspector rejected by the police for lack of merit, media reports said.
Investigators found no evidence of police illegally detaining her and inflicting mental harassment.
The complaints were investigated by the Thrikkakara Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) after Ansiba made a complaint with
the Chief Minister.
Station records, including digital proof submitted by Lakshmipriya, proved Ansiba was at the station for only 1 hour and 17 minutes for routine questioning, leading police to dismiss the complaint.
While the complaint against Lakshmipriya and the police was dismissed, authorities are still conducting preliminary inquiries into a separate petition filed by Ansiba accusing actor Tini Tom of harassing her online using communal slurs.
Ansiba resigned as Joint secretary of
Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes (AMMA).
