Kochi: Actor Dileep and three others have been directed by cops to surrender their phones they have been using before they were booked for allegedly conspiring to harm police officials probing actor assault case.
The cases were registered a few days back after film director Balachandra Kumar submitted evidence against Dileep and others taking part in the conspiracy in Dileep’s house in 2017.
They have been asked to surrender the phones by tomorrow.
Earlier, the Crime branch completed 33-hour questioning of Dileep and four other accused in connection with the alleged conspiracy case.
The investigation team is required to present the outcome of the questioning before the High Court on Thursday.
The court had allowed the police to question Dileep and others for 33 hours to gather evidences to prove the allegations of conspiracy theory.
The court is scheduled to deliver its verdict on the anticipatory bail plea of Dileep in the conspiracy case on Thursday.
Meanwhile, the Kerala High Court granted additional ten days time for the prosecution to examine the witnesses in the actor assault case.
