Kochi: After shooting down a US F-15 fighter jet, Iran has claimed to have brought down another fighter, BBC reported.
US and Iran are searching for a missing crew member after two US warplanes were shot down in different parts of the region, US media report said.
The missing weapon systems officer was aboard a US F-15 fighter jet that was shot down in southern Iran.
A pilot who was aboard has been rescued, while the fate of the missing crew member is not known.
Iran is claiming to have shot down the A-10 combat plane during a search-and-rescue mission for the first downed aircraft.
