Kochi: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was attacked by a person when Kumar was offering tributes to a freedom fighter Shilbhadra Yaji at Bakhtiyarpur on Sunday.
The assailant marched through the battery of Chief Minister’s special security sleuths and pulled Kumar to bring him face to face to bang the when the security personnel pounced on him and dragged him away.
Other security personnel made a shield around Kumar to protect him from any further attack.
Opposition leader Tejaswi Yadav condemned the incident.
Kumar had faced protests like people pelting onions at Madhubani in November 2020.
