Kochi: Kerala Cultural Minister Saji Cherian refused to respond to former CPM Minister G Sudhakaran’s charges that Saji is head of a criminal gang in Chengannur, media reports said.
Cherian said he had no answer to the political criminal allegations levelled by independent nominee Sudhakaran in Ambalapuzha.
Cherian said efforts to keep Sudhakaran in the party failed to yield results as someone had misled Sudhakaran.
Claiming that Sudhakaran will lose in Ambalapuzha as he was no longer in the Left, Cherian said the LDF will emerge victorious in Ambalapuzha where CPM has not lost a single supporter.
The Former Minister Sudhakaran had lashed out the other day saying that Saji Cherian is the leader of political criminals. Sudhakaran had alleged that CPM district secretary in Alappuzha is useless. There is no point in being in the party anymore as there is no revolution there.
