Kochi: Late Congress leader P T Thomas had a financial liability of over Rs 75 lakh which should be cleared by the party, UDF Ernakulam district chairman Dominic Presentation said. However, the party has not yet made any official statement regarding this.

Thomas, who passed away last month, media reports quoting Dominic of Congress said.
The party should undertake the education expenses of his youngest son, he said.
There are other overheads like home loan, vehicle loan, personal loan besides a liability of Rs 14 lakh as security.
Thomas passed away in December due to cancer at Christian Medical College, Vellore.
