Kochi: In a suspected terror attack a woman was killed and 16 others injured, some of them seriously, when a car driven by the suspect Abdul, 21, plouwed into a crowd at a Berlin Pride event around 22:00 hours Berlin Standard Time (BST). The woman died on the spot while about 2,200 cops have launched an extensive manhunt for one or more suspects.The event was cancelled and people are evacuated, BBC reported. Police posted on X that they have identified a suspect with Islamist links. No arrest has been made or motive suggested.The search area is widened to the entire city as thousands of police reportedly join the search.The police statement said several people were reportedly injured with stabbing weapons in the attack.”This is an attack on our society,” says German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
