Kochi: After making controversial statements on Kashmir, former Kerala Minister K T Jaleel, MLA, withdrew his post on Saturday.
In a Facebook post he announced his decision to withdraw his controversial post, which he again claimed was misunderstood.
Jaleel said that he was doing it for the unity of the country and social harmony.
Jaleel took the decision under pressure from the ruling left front under whose support he had won the assembly election.
Jaleel had published three posts in connection with the Kashmir issue. One was the controversial post, the second was the one justifying the post when it became controversial and the third one was to withdraw it.
Meanwhile, a lawyer has lodged a complaint against Jaleel in New Delhi for his controversial post on Kashmir.
