Kochi: The BJP is confident of forming a government in Kerala and other states as the next 30 to 40 years would be the era of BJP, Home Minister Amit Shah said today.
The other states are Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Telangana and West Bengal, Shah said while moving a political resolution during the two day party Executive meeting in Hyderabad.
The country would progress only if the party ruled at the centre and states, he said.
Taking a dig at the Congress, he said the party is facing division within it due to lack of democracy.
The party leaders in Congress are not happy as the party is not electing a new president for fear of the family losing control over it.
The BJP is working towards bringing an end to dynastic politics, casteism, appeasement among others, he said.
Prime Minister, Union Ministers, 19 Chief Ministers and other top leaders are among those attending the meeting.
The Prime Minister described as historical the party’s decision to select Draupadi Murmu as its presidential candidate who, if elected, would become the first tribal woman to become President of the country.
