Kochi: Six Cops in Kerala were suspended on Tuesday for consuming liquor inside a vehicle while on duty in Thiruvananthapuram.
The visuals of the erring policemen boozing in the car parked in front of Kazhakkoottam police station were taken by a person secretly.
Grade assistant sub-inspector (ASI) Binu, Civil Police Officers Ratheesh, Manoj, Arun, Akhilraj, and Arun were suspended on the basis of a preliminary inquiry. Visuals of cops consuming alcohol wearing civil dress went viral in social media.
