Kochi: Operation of train services has been badly hit due to change of timing, Southern Railway Passengers Association president Sajeev Parishavila has said.
Inaugurating a protest meeting in Kollam, he said rescheduling of connection trains to Nagercoil via Alappuzha for trains coming from Kottayam to Kollam would be of immense help to passengers traveling beyond Kollam.
The meeting demanded an increase in number of unreserved compartments in all trains. Shiju Ibrahim presided. Ashraf, Prajeesh Ramakrishnan, Nishad were among those to speak.
