Kochi: The Centre has ordered a probe into the reported incidents of security staff forcing a student to remove her undergarment during the NEET examination at Kollam.
The Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan directed the Union Education Additional Secretary to conduct an investigation into the allegations.
The minister gave the direction after Congress leaders Hibi Eden and K Muraleedharan raised the matter in Lok Sabha.
The Kerala police have started investigation into the matter by visiting the examination centre at Marthoma Institute of Information and Technology at Ayur. The police will examine the CCTV clippings to collect evidences.
Meanwhile, the National Testing Agency has said that it has not received any complaint about making some aspirants remove undergarments which is not mentioned in its manual.
