UP signs MoU companies at Bangluru meet

Kochi: Uttar Pradesh signed an MoU worth Rs 50,000 crore with 15 companies at a high-profile investment roadshow hosted by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in Bengaluru on June 24.
The Uttar Pradesh Global Growth Dialogue 2026 was attended by representatives from global corporations, Global Capability Centre operators, technology firms, real estate developers and institutional investors, the Hindustan Times reported.
Yogi held interactions with officials
from Google besides participating in roundtable discussions on urban infrastructure, IT and ITeS, GCCs and foreign direct investment.
Yogi showcased Uttar Pradesh as a business destination backed by over 36 sectoral policies, competitive incentives, single-window clearances and robust infrastructure.
Yogi assured potential investors of safety, subsidies and a governance framework oriented towards ease of doing business.
Real estate majors committed to setting up private industrial and business parks while firms like LG announced setting up new GCC facilities in the state.
Foreign Direct Investment pledges came from Ace International Ltd in dairy manufacturing, AB InBev in brewing, Mapletree in industrial infrastructure and Syrma in electronics.
Kaynes announced an expansion in electronic component manufacturing.
Yogi highlighted the roadmap targeting 40 million square feet of Grade-A office space by 2031, 500 GCC units and skill development programmes in artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity and cloud computing, drawing on a pool of nearly two lakh STEM graduates annually.
