Kochi: President Donald Trump blamed Israel and Iran for violating the ceasefire hours after Trump announcing the truce brokered by Qatar, BBC said.
Stating that he was “really unhappy” with Israel, Trump called on Israel to stop dropping bombs and to “Bring your pilots home, now!”
Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz says he has ordered “intense strikes” on Tehran, accusing Iran of violating the truce brokered by the US and Qatar.
Criticising Israel and Iran of accused each other of breaking the ceasefire, Trump “the ceasefire is in effect”.
Trump’s warning comes after Israel claimed to have intercepted a missile launched by Iran, hours after the truce came into effect.
Denying making fresh attacks, Iran warned that “any further aggression will be met with a decisive, firm, and timely response”.
Israeli strikes on Iran have killed at least 865 people and wounded 3,396 others, according to human rights group based in Washington.
The dead included 363 civilians and 215 security force personnel.
Details of casualties suffered by Israel are not available.
