Kochi: India won the T20 series against Australia 2-1 by winning the final match by six wickets at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Sunday.
Winning the toss India decided to ball. Batting first Australia made 186 for 7 in 20 overs.
T David hit 54 and Green 52 for Australia. Axar Patel took 3 for 33.
Suryakumar Yadav hit a glorious 69 and former captain Virat Kohli 63 to reach the target in a thrilling manner. India made 187 for 4 in 19.5 overs.
For Australia Sams took 2 for 23.
