Kochi: Women’s Day was celebrated by Nehru Yuva Kendra (NYK), Idukki, and Thodupuzha Soccer School (TSS) in Thodupuzha on Friday.
A one km mini marathon organised from Vengaloor signal junction to TSS was flagged off by NYK idukki District officer Sachin.Alfonsa M G of St George Higher Secondary School, Kallanickal, came first, Jeevana Shaji of St Rita’s, Painkulam came second and Tessa of MKNMHSS third. Ended in TSS.ground.
Valedictory function was inaugurated by Pala RDO Deepa K P.Sr Honey V Francis and Sr Lissy Paul of Pratheeksha Bhavan, Bindu Mathew of Divya Rakshalayam, Bincy Joshi of
Mother and Child Foundation were Honoured on the occasion.TSS director P A Saleem Kutty welcomed and Joshi Matthew delivered vote of thanks.
