Kochi: At Least four students died and 64 injured in a mele triggered due to rains during Tech fest at the Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) on Saturday, media reports said.
The deceased include two boys and two girls were brought dead, Health Minister Veena George told reporters at Kozhikode. Two students were seriously injured, she said.
There were a large number of students and others at the venue when a function was held in an open air theater on the culminating day of the event.
The music concert led by Bollywood fame Nikhita Gandhi was being held in the campus.The identity of the deceased have not been ascertained.
